Felt like SWMBO had given me a shot to the left temple sometime during the night. So my day was shot. At one point my whole damned face hurt. Which usually only hurts other people when they have to look at it and me only on those rare occasions when I look in to the mirror and see that OLD guy staring back at me. Hmmm…

Head still hurts enough that I don’t think I’ll be running the MCARC 2-meter Chat Net tonight. Won’t be able to concentrate on it. And it’s ARES check-in tonight also.

Been napping off and on and I HATE that.

Think I’ll go freeze my head.

SWMBO getting up and rushing off to the Genealogy Library in Bremerton. Our Son finally stumbling out of bed and upstairs to cook himself breakfast. Me perusing the latest tv downloads and the Net.

And then the hail started. And lasted all of 2 minutes. I set my camera up just in case there was any thunder along with the hail. Nope. Think I’ll leave it running “just in case.”

I am feeling better today than I did yesterday. Still have a cough but the Robitussen seems to be helping with that. Thank goodness! Danged stuff had me pretty drowsy last night so I didn’t read as long as I usually do before turning over to go to sleep.

Noon and still no lightning or thunder. Figures. Took the Drone out for a flight while it wasn’t raining. Didn’t crash into anything. That’s a big plus!

Son is making “surf-n-turf” for dinner. He got a pretty good deal on lobster tails at Safeway last night. I’d rather he saved up for a new(er) car!

Just not much else going on. In a kind of “Let’s Watch LA Get Leveled” kind of mood. Battle Los Angeles, War Of The Worlds (1953) and Them kind of day…

SWMBO took me to Lowe’s and let me spend too much money on 20 2×4” studs to start building our son his own room in the basement. Have to move all of my “shop” out of the way, and a butt-ton of other stuff, but I think we can do it. Won’t even have to run any electrical wires as he can use the existing sockets and the wall heater (if he needs to). We’ll probably get started on that tomorrow…

Well at all. Caught a cold, I think. Runny nose. Cough. Just feeling blah. Then I also ate meatloaf last night (it was yummy) but then forgot to take my enzyme; so I’m paying the price of stupidity there also. (Look up: Dumping Syndrome. It’s the fat in beef that does it to me. Thought you’d want to be grossed out by an old guy’s bodily functions. You’re welcome.)

Dang! And SWMBO took me out to breakfast this morning. (Nice being out with her anytime!) Ate at a place in town cause she had a 1300 genealogy class in Port Orchard she wants to go to. I’ve not had one meal at this place that I would go back for.

So, haven’t been doing much today. Playing with Vue and watching shows I’ve downloaded. Straightening up some. Feeling my feet slowly go numb from all this sitting around.

Regular Old Dude Stuff! No “flying” today; too wet and windy. Supposed to be a chance for thunder & lightning this weekend. One can only hope… I’ll keep my camera ready just in case.

And that’s about it for now. Think I’ll spend the rest of the evening just veg’ing  out.

What a bummer after the last week or so we’ve had. But, SWMBO, The Dog and I got out for a walk anyway. Was just sprinkling a bit when we took off and was raining long before we got back. Still a pleasure to go walking with her though! Stopping and kissing her in the rain is sort of like that scene in the first “Spiderman”  movie. Naw, not really. I’m too old to get my ass that far over my head anymore…

AND I’ve caught a damned cough from somewhere. Kind of tickles way down and I cough. Forcefully. Hope the Robitussen helps.

Other than that just not much going on. Straightened up a bit. Made meat loaf, spinach, and taters for dinner. Tried a couple of Drone flights INSIDE but kept crashing. Seems I need a lot of room when I get behind the controls!

Have a scene rendering in Vue7 that I’ve been playing with. Learned some new things when checking Vue out on YouTube. Playing with mixing my own textures for Terrain and whatever. It’s fun! Dang 15 second video has been rendering over 3 hours with another 2 hours to go! I NEED a faster computer!

Dinner was pretty good!
