Brighter Monday. Sorta.

Bought a valve thingie to let me fill 1lb propane bottles from the larger propane bottles. Tried it out today and “filled” 6 1lb bottles in about half an hour. Last I looked Walmart was charging $8 for 2 bottles; so the valve thingie has already paid for itself. Cool! Admittedly, it was kinda scary messing with a high-pressure flammable gas, but I got through it and did it as safely as I could. I think. I didn’t get blown up.

I still flinch when I hook up a large battery to anything since I had one blow up on me a few years ago. I don’t let that stop me from doing what I need to get done though. I run my radio’s completely on solar charged batteries.

Speaking of which: looking into ways to mount my solar panels to the roof since it seems like that’s going to be the best place to mount them. DIY stuff!

I see where Minneapolis, the “Defund The Police” capitol, has requested outside help to combat their increased crime. Personally, I’d say let them do it themselves. The rest of us (The Federal Government) shouldn’t send them one red cent. Don’t understand why we send any money to the Liberal cities anyway.

And I saw where y’alls President didn’t even acknowledge the 77th anniversary of D-Day. Probably because not one of his liberal staff put it on his calendar and Y’all really can’t expect him to remember shit. Dipshidiots.

Just watched the movie “T-34” and I thought it was pretty good. Man, the Russians are STILL upset about Germany invading! 🙂

Got rid of that old rider-mower that’s been sitting in my yard for the last 3 years. I helped the guy put it into his truck. We were both huffing and puffing and he says “We’re lifting like a couple of old fuckers!” Asked him how old he was and he said 60. Told him I was going to be 69 later this month and he says “Man! Hope I’m lifting as well as you when I’m that old!” Called me Pops on his way out. Fucker.
Brought the electric stove from the MILA up to our kitchen. It’s newer than our present stove. The burner top is one piece and level. Level! Cool. I’m so used to the burners tilting one way or another. So far the “new” stove is working much better than the old one. (It was bought by our last renter and of not bad quality.)
