Damned Headaches!

I *HATE* waking up with a headache! I really do think it’s the change in the barometric pressure or somehow weather related ‘cause each time the weather changes I get one of these damned headaches! AAAaarrrrrggggghhhhh!

So, didn’t get a whole lot done today. Some laundry. Made Chicken Noodle soup for dinner cause SWMBO is having some chest congestion and I thought it might help. No, I know it won’t help clear up the actual congestion, but, when someone makes chicken noodle soup for you then you know they care. And maybe that makes you feel a bit better. Smile

OTT, not much going on. Pulled all the pictures out of an old (OLD) photo album of SWMBO’s so I can scan them. Not going to put them back; they’ll take up a lot less room in an envelope in a box. Get to do the same thing to a couple more albums.

Had a serious enquiry on the Digger that didn’t pan out. Guy lives in Vaughn (wherever that is) and messaged me that he found a Digger closer to home. Bummer. I don’t want to sell her but need to so we can pay off some of our bills and SWMBO won’t feel the pressure to work so much.

The other guy is coming over to pay for the Dump Truck tomorrow and figure out how large a trailer he’ll need to haul it off. That money will come in handy.

Almost Too Ashamed To Post..

Cause today has been one of the more SSDD days that I have ever lived! Made a trip to Blockbuster to return those movies, walked the property twice, and did some dishes and laundry. That’s it. That’s been my day. Oh, swept my computer/radio room.

Other than that I’ve just been watching BBC stuff that I downloaded and “Mysterious Island.” Tweeted Neil DeGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson – Scientist/Astronomer) but haven’t heard back. (Bought one of his courses, My Favorite Universe, through The Great Courses.)

Thursday? Already? Damn!

Where does the time go? You know, sometimes (most times?) I don’t feel all that busy; but I sure do lose a lot of time. I should know it’s Thursday; I participated in the Wednesday 2-meter Net. That means the next time it’s light outside it’s Thursday!

Guess I’m just getting old.

Pulled all the “junk” out of the back of the Dump Truck getting it ready for the new owner to come over and get it. It was “misting” out so everything was pretty much soaked. Which means I got pretty much soaked. But at least I don’t have that migraine I had yesterday. ALL DAY yesterday.

Not much else going on. Making soup and salad for dinner. SWMBO hasn’t let me know what kind of soup I’m making yet and dinner time is in about 20 minutes. Probably split-pea & Ham for her. Think I’ll have Thick & Creamy Chicken & Dumplings. (Guess you can tell I’m not putting a lot of effort into dinner tonight…)

Been reading different places on the web about blogging and making money. Turns out you have to write about something people want to read about. Who’d a thunk? I could always start Redneck Mormon up again to espouse my Conservative, Libertarian, “I’m just your normal everyday born in the 1950’s American” point of view. I get discouraged though cause it just seems no one (meaning regular people) really seems to care anymore. Except the old farts like me.

Yes, it’s discouraging to rant and rave to no avail. (Just ask my Ex-!)

Still A Pretty Much SSDD Week…

Around here. Really, the only thing “notable” that’s happened around here is my neighbor’s asshole kids rode their dirt bikes  around my property and screwed up my walking trails. Again. I’ll tell you; I’m really beginning to believe that a good fence makes good neighbors. They would NOT like a fence cause I’d take back that small section of my property that they (and their friends) sometimes park on. I really only have to give them a driveway to and from their house. Ah well. I’m just pissed right now. They have some of the mouthiest kids I’ve ever heard. They refuse to take responsibility for their actions and will lie their asses off. Wish they’d move.

Still haven’t sold my digger or dump truck NOR have we rented the MILA. Things is getting’ tight. Not desperate as we still have our Navy Retirement checks coming in to make the house payment. But we may find out what it’s like living here without electricity & phone! Smile (Just kidding. It ain’t that bad, yet.)

Got ribs on the BBQ for dinner tonight. Think I’ll make some mashed taters and veggies to go with them.

Scanned all those pictures and now am getting them organized. Made a directory for each person and just bulk moved their pictures into them. Now comes trying to organize them by age/place. Just my directory has 19 sub-directory’s for young, teen & each duty station of my Navy career! Then there might be 1 or several sub-directory’s under those for different things. Phew!

All my pictures will eventually be posted either on my Gallery or Google+; or someplace where the whole family can see them if they want. Would that they would do the same!!
