Where I did my “usual” routine with the addition of running into Port Orchard for SWMBO’s Birthday present. I kinda sorta took the lazy man’s way out; but a way out I know she’ll like. No problems there. Stopped and took some pictures on the way.

My first Social Security check came in right on time. Cool! Transferred funds back into “our” account paying back the bucks I borrowed to make a down on my new truck. Stopped by the Credit Union to check on a couple of things. Stopped by the Auto Parts store to look at Truck Tool Boxes but they didn’t have any. Came on home and have been farting around since.

Not much else going on. Straightening up around the house to get ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Still don’t know just who will be coming over but everyone is pretty much welcome. I know SWMBO’s Son will be taking the “dark meat” left over on the turkey to his girlfriend’s cause she likes the dark meat. Weird.

And that is really about it. Supposed to be breezy and wet for this Thanksgiving. Y’all be safe and have a great day tomorrow!

My new antenna is really bouncing up and down out there. Wet out too. But, this is WaRshington so what do you expect?

Just not much going on around here. If anything I was a bit lazier today than usual. Got my regular chores done but not much else. Oh, swept and swabbed the dining room and kitchen. Made some chili for dinner. Finished off some laundry. Made a mail run to the Post Office in town.

Been listening to the radio but haven’t heard much on the local repeaters. Lots of traffic stuff towards 1600. Seems WaRshingtonians still haven’t learned to drive in the rain. Go figure! And wait until it snows!

Wow. Someone going Eastbound on I-90 hit a bear. That would suck!

Almost called an ambulance or just drove in to the hospital earlier. My lips were “tingling” and had a “heavy” feeling in my chest. Wasn’t short of breath, dizzy,  diaphoretic, or anything like that; just what I mentioned. Just getting old, I guess. Still, wouldn’t mind celebrating my 150th birthday, in person, someday. And I don’t really care what physical condition I’m in to get there as long as I can wipe my own ass when I need to!

MCARC 10-meter Tuesday Chat Net coming up. AE7GC (Bill) called me and asked me to take it tonight as he has to go to the hospital to visit his better half. No prob! I may have to go pick SWMBO up but should be back in time. If not I’m sure some one will pick it up. (W7FBI – Lee did.)

And I did pick SWMBO up this evening.  Nice riding with her at anytime. Even in the rain. In the dark. (Especially in the dark.)

Rained pretty hard when taking SWMBO to the Ferry Landing @ 0545. Couple of pretty good downpours and Wind after getting home. Turned on the radio to listen in on the local 2-meter repeaters.

Been watching the “News” and straightening up the Truck Music USB Drive. About to get my day started. Sure is nice to NOT hear a lot of political BS on the “News.” If I were the GOP, I’d be wary of Obama promising to work with them. Grain of salt comes to mind. (Obama is a shit-faced liar comes to mind also.)

Thought I’d make Chied Fricken, mashed, and green beans for dinner. May even make enough for SWMBO (even if she doesn’t like eating cold fried chicken. Weird of her, but she’s from Oregon, Ohio).

Wind is really blowing things around out there. Power has flickered a couple of times while I was working on the MCARC finances. But I got everything done and printed so I’m ready for the meeting Saturday.

Found out how to “browse” XM Radio when I went to check mail. Don’t know how much I’ll be listening to XM Radio; haven’t really found anything to listen to for long. The only other thing from XM Radio is the Wx report; which I can do without. If I want Wx, I check it online. Ah well.

And I’d say that’s pretty much it. SWMBO’s home (her son picked her up tonight) and I’m chillin’ out watching the new Star Trek movie. Which I probably won’t finish out before bedtime. But who knows. I may be old but I can still stay up late with my young schweetie. Hell, I may even stay up until 2130 or so tonight!
