But I will be for awhile to come. Went to ACE Hardware and bought 4 sheets of wallboard and 10 2”X4” studs. Put half of the new wall in next to the tall cabinets. Only half cause I need to pull up the flooring before putting the wallboard on the other side of the wall. And I’ve got to figure out how I’m going to support the free standing corner of the wall. Right now I have a too long 2×4 holding it in place.

And that’s what I’ve been doing today.

Just noticed that the girl at ACE charged me for half-sheets of wallboard instead of the full sheets I got. Looks like I’ll be making a trip back into town tomorrow to rectify that. I’d hate for her to have her pay shortened because of a simple mistake. (Not that I know ACE does that to their employee’s. Sides, it’s just the right thing to do.)

Dang! Wetter, windier, and cooler weather coming for at least the next week. Good thing I have lots of “projects” to do around the house!
