Date Saturday! Cool!

We woke up to this from the NWS this morning:

.NOW... SCATTERED RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE INTERIOR OF WESTERN WASHINGTON THIS MORNING. SOME SHOWERS MAY START OFF AS RAIN...THEN CHANGE OVER TO SNOW AS THE TEMPERATURE DROPS TEN TO FIFTEEN DEGREES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE LESS THAN AN INCH. IN AREAS WHERE SNOW DOES FALL...MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION. (Duh!)

Thank you very much! Anyone else notice that “TEMPERATURE DROPS TEN TO FIFTEEN DEGREES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR” line? What? Did I just suddenly get transported to Montana? Guess I ought to wear real shoes today…

It’s only noon right now. Been a pretty normal Saturday morning so far. Printed out the notice to our Renters that we’re not going to renew their month-to-month rental agreement so they have 30 days to vacate. The “usual” chores. Checked the Wx (obviously). Supposed to meet SWMBO at Taco Bell about 1445 for an early dinner. (She’s at the Genealogy Library this morning.)

This is the driveway for the MILA. What I want to know is: How The Hell Do The Renters Miss The Fookin’ Driveway? Notice one of the tracks on the left just misses the tree. You really gotta be in a hurry to cut that corner that much!

well, Taco Bell was good (as usual). Safeway stop didn’t bite too deeply into our funds. Got home and taped the 30-day notices to the Renters doors. Been “playing” with Calibre and my Nexus 7 trying to get things a bit more automatic. Played with SWMBO’s Windows 8 tablet but couldn’t find out what e-book format it wanted. (She wants me to continue that tomorrow.)

I’m going to lay down and read a bit. About finished with “Moonfall.”
