I’m pretty sick of myself about now. Except for putting those Nerf Bars on I have done nothing but sit around watching movies for a damned week now. Once I get my usual chores done, that is. I haven’t had the gumption to get off my lazy old ass and actually DO anything. Today I’m pretty fed up with that shit. Sometimes, this being “retired” really sucks. I have things to do, things I can do, and things I want to do and it’s time to get up and do them.

I need two desks that I can take the tops off for my room; to fit them under the countertops. A set of drawers to store things in. One of those tall storage cabinets would be nice too but I’m not sure I want to spend $300 for one. Think I’ll check Habitat For Humanity and see what they have. I want to get my room finished and I’m going to resume that project tomorrow!

Oh, I did make a run to the bank to be sure my payment got in on time (it did) and Safeway for a Powerball Ticket. Yeah, the chances of me winning $500 Million are the same as getting struck by lightning while getting bit by a shark, but it’s worth the $2 to find out. Wouldn’t it be nice to win though…

And that’s pretty much it. Again. SWMBO is off at the Quilting party at the Church and it’s almost my bedtime. Think I’ll go lay down and read until she gets home.
