Started out a pretty normal day around here. Slept late; 0620 today. Don’t know why I’m sleeping so late these days. Must be getting old.

I’ve been a “morning person” my whole life. I like to get up when the sun peeks over the horizon and go to bed after it disappears under the other horizon. Hopefully nice days I can spend outside.

Worked graveyard shift for a couple of years once. It was Hell. Oh, the job was fairly easy most of the time and paid well. But it just wasn’t worth it to me. There is something intrinsically wrong with sleeping during the day. Something against Nature. (And SWMBO is a “night” person but you don’t want to get me started on that!)

Cloudy out. Like it wants to rain. Which it could do by this afternoon. Mixed feelings about that. Yeah, we need some rain right now; it’s been so long since we’ve had a decent amount. But, it is rain, and I’ve lived up here so long I hate the rain.

Not much else going on. Still in my “sick of cheerios for breakfast” mood. Think I’ll just wait until 1100 then go to DQ for a $5 lunch. Should probably put something on (and my teeth in) before I leave. For some reason people get upset when you go through the drive-thru naked. (Or do pretty much anything naked.) Good thing I’m not out to win any fashion awards. (Nor Beauty Awards apparently.)

Oh, yeah. I haven’t given a repot on how it’s going with the CPAP. It’s going well. Since I’ve gotten used to it I haven’t woken up taking/haven taken it apart. Now I wake up with the hose wrapped around my neck! (I think SWMBO does it!) And, I haven’t woken up with a headache that I didn’t go to bed with. So, it’s going well. Sleeping better with that and putting a bit more air in the mattress. Seems I now like a firmer mattress. (I like my mattress like I like my women: waiting for me to climb in!)

So,  since I seem to be rambling today …

It’s 1050 and officially raining outside my house right now. Cool! (As opposed to raining inside my house. Not cool!) Rain lasted only 5 minutes or so.

Three piece chicken $5 lunch. Tasty.

Playing with a program called VideoMach (Standard). It lets me convert video to damned near anything (including these .gif’s). Originally bought it to make time lapse video’s of the clouds/Wx that I set my camera up to take. Works great! Keeping .gif’s under the 2 mb limit of my server can be tricky though.

I Have Done Nothing Today! Got caught up in Doctor Who and listening to the radio. Several accidents around bad enough to close a road or two for awhile. Other than my usual chores I’ve been a complete waste of Human Endeavor.

Just re-heated the rest of that soup I made for dinner last night. That’s really the only thing “wrong” with those soup mixes; they make too much. You have to add 8 cups of water, and that is just a bit too much for SWMBO and I. I think I’ll try to cut it at least in half from now on.
