Not a whole lot going on around here. Today it’s been just finishing up the laundry and straightening up the house. Anyone who tells you that being retired is all fun and games should be deported! A lot of retirement is boring. I’ve been doing it for 7-8 years and I’m ready to go back to work.

SWMBO took me to Red Lobster for dinner last Saturday. Then we walked the Mall. She stopped at the smelly stuff store and I waited in the main hall. Saw a girl that reminded me of The Penguin (from batman) and right behind her was a guy that anyone would have mistaken for Icabod Crane. Sorry, folks, but they was funny looking.

Yesterday I didn’t get hardly anything done but most of the laundry. An SSDD Sunday, in other words. SWMBO’s Home Teachers came by so we spent an hour visiting with them. Ate dinner, had the MCARC 2-meter Sunday Chat Net (which went well), and stayed up late watching the latest Star Trek movie. She seemed to enjoy it.

And that’s pretty much it. Oh, played with that Universe Sandbox program I got some months back. Spent several hours making solar systems then seeing how much damage I could create by shooting random planets through them. Was fun!
