There Is No Other Way To Say It

Holy, Shit, I’m Sore and Tired! Spent the day with a lot of other folks loading 5 or 6 U-Haul “Pods” for our friends move to Arizona. It took a few hours, but we finally got them all loaded. Of course, he still needs the same amount, or more, empty Pods to get all his stuff, but we at least got these loaded. And it rained on us only twice!

When Things Were Winding Down

He has to be out of his house Tuesday. He’s not going to get the rest of this stuff loaded and will have to just walk away from what ever is left. That’s just the way it’s gonna have to be. I don’t think people realize how much “stuff” they collect when they live in a house for 13 years. I feel for them, but that’s what’s going to happen.

Our Friend Kim

So I’ll go back tomorrow, and probably Monday, but I don’t think we’re going to get much more done except maybe pile everything that’s staying in the garage and declare open house on it.

I took several items off their hands: a gun case, subwoofer, antique stand-up radio, an antique sewing machine in a cabinet thingie, and a working soda machine (which was one heavy bitch to get into and out of the truck!)

Took a break and ran some of the stuff home, picked SWMBO up, and she took me to the all-you-can-eat Chinese place in Port Orchard. Food was good, and I ate too much as I always do, but sitting across from her was the best part. I like going out with her.

Panorama I Made Today

After dinner we went back over to our friends but they were winding down for the night so we just sat around for awhile. Loaded the soda machine and came on home. We unloaded it using ramps and leverage; so it’s sitting in the middle of the garage floor until I clean it up and move it to the pantry (I think). Looking forward to refinishing that old radio.

And that’s pretty much it. I am tired and sore. Getting too old for this shit! Nice seeing a lot of old friends today.
